CARA DELEVIGNE GUEST EDITS FOR LOVE MAGAZINE.

She may be a high-end catwalk favourite, have the best brows in the business and have some exciting guest roles in upcoming films set for release later this year, but Brit model Cara Delevingne’s latest project is a little bit more ‘behind the scenes’ than her previous work.

Model of the year at the British Fashion Awards and regular face at LOVE magazine Delevingne recently accepted a role as contributing editor at LOVE. Whilst this is an exciting move for the model, Delevingne is not the first fashion favourite to join the LOVE team as she follows in the footsteps of fellow model Edie Campbell.

Having featured in LOVE several times the model has a long-standing relationship with the magazine. Some of her most memorable appearances include her cover shot in issue 9 where she was pictured lying in a bath with the cover line ‘Cara Scrubs Up’ and in issue 10 where the model featured snarling at the camera wearing a pair of bespoke Minnie Mouse ears designed exclusively by Gucci.

Katie Grand, Editor-in-Chief of LOVE, said: “I couldn’t be happier working with Cara, having her alongside me behind the camera for a change. Of course, I’ve worked with her many times as a model – ever since we shot her for LOVE in 2009.”
She added that: “I’ve always known that she’s an exceptionally bright, sharp and hilarious young woman. That’s why I was so keen to let her have this chance to exercise her skills as a journalist and writer. And she has proven herself to be a fearless interviewer, never afraid to ask all the questions we want to know the answers to.”

Delevingne said: “It’s such an honour to be asked by Katie Grand to guest edit an issue of LOVE magazine. Normally I’m the one being asked the questions, but I loved the experience of being on the other side – asking the questions and having more directive control.”

Delevingne’s efforts as guest editor will be available to view in the 13th issue of LOVE magazine which will arrive on news-stands on the 9th February.
