It’s hard not to fall in love with (and want to keep) the myriad of garments that grace the rails of SS15 showrooms. Far away from the runways, you can have an up-close glance and take your time to view these wonderful collections, which is something we take for granted in the fashion industry. Tucked away in a side street of Covent Garden, the Dust PR showroom provided the perfect escape into the world of Spring/Summer.

The most impressive collection was Australian label, Ginger & Smart.  Their range was a breath of fresh air with clean lines and soft floral prints. Femininity at its finest. With key pieces such as the cropped black bomber jacket with asymmetrical lines, and monochrome print dresses adorned with mesh, Ginger & Smart is the definition of affordable luxury.

Another fast favourite, Rokit, provided a wardrobe for the typical trendy London woman. Part of the collection, Rokit Recycled is created from vintage pieces and fabrics that are gathered then picked apart and made into a completely new piece. The collection is full of sequins, red velvet kimonos and black suede cowboy-esque jackets.

We all know sportswear is a huge SS15 trend, as it is every year.  Adding an edge on the typical sport-luxe uniform, Lorna Jane activewear had some great pieces like a purple and orange mesh tank printed with ‘She is Fierce’, and a great range of bright coloured sports bras. SS15 here we come.
