FEATHER AND STONE. AW14.

Feather and Stone design duo Marina Gorman and Mia Robinson are back with another collection of colourful silk scarves and covetable jewellery. Since 2010, Feather and Stone has been creating elegant, contemporary accessories for the modern woman  with a slightly bohemian edge.

For AW14, the range of silk and cashmere scarves is inspired by nature, with designs such as Starry Night, Peacock Plumes, Antique Rose and Ikat Python. The brand already has a growing celebrity following that includes the likes of Jessica Alba and Sienna Miller.

The jewellery range sees a refresh of some existing favourites such as the Rena Double Layer Charm Necklace, this time appearing in pearl and grey chalcedony, and pearl and lolite variations. The latest versions of the Freya Friendship Bracelets are also a hit, moving away from the summery light colours of moonstone and aqua chalcedony and into darker precious stones like amethyst and labradorite.

There are also some new additions to the range such as the Rea Crystal Open Disk Bangle, plated in 22 carat gold. Like  the Odele Beaten Disk Bangles (also new) this piece has a slightly aztec feel to it. However, my favourite piece from AW14 by far has to be the Dita Pearl Charm Necklace, with a string of tiny delicate natural pearls and 22 carat gold plated charms. Dainty, sophisticated… charming.
