Nestled in the streets of Marylebone, the Hunter Gather AW14 presentation lifted the grey haze of London. The label see itself as a creative community; ‘[a] collective, a repository of ideas, a gathering of minds and a fashion label’ headed by David Bradshaw. Key to the label’s offering is a collection of must-have wardrobe staples with a contemporary aesthetic including the casual bomber, the classic pea coat and cool denim, all with Hunter Gather’s quirky twist.

Autumn/winter 14 takes a pumped 90’s direction with the mood inspired by a ‘long drive, all Gosling/Refn flouro-fight mode.’ The palette base is a combination of varying mediums from punk reds and yellows to military khaki and stone. Colours explode in Pollock-like splashes enchanted with a street vibe. Garments ooze a casual chaos aesthetic with distressed finishes and washed-out knits featuring throughout, finished with brothel creepers to engage the rave spirited. A captivatingly creative start to the new year.
