Last night saw the launch of Karl Lagerfeld’s first London store at 145-147 Regent Street. The store took 6 months to design and incorporates technology at every opportunity, including iPads in the changing rooms.
As well as menswear and womenswear, accessories and shoes, Lagerfeld has produced a line of union jack themed odds and ends and Lagerfeld memorabilia. This includes the necessary accessories to imitate his style. It’s a quirky concept from a quirky designer and is suitably egocentric. The store is open to the public as of today.
