If you are in need of some super stylish eyewear then look no further than Kirk and Kirk. Brothers Sidney and Percy originally launched the brand in 1919, known back then as innovators for not only the design but also the way the glasses were presented. Now fast-forward 95 years and three generations to the present day and Jason Kirk (Grandson of Sidney Kirk) along with his partner Karen is sill maintaining the same innovative designs and presentation.
Last Thursday saw the UK launch of the brands Vivarium and Solarium collections in the cosy and intimate settings of Eyewear concierge in Soho, the perfect backdrop for the chic eyewear brand. Made from lightweight acrylic with metallic finishing in hues of blue, silver, green and Bordeaux, both the Solarium and Vivarium are inspired by the Victorian obsession with science and nature. Each frame is named after a celebrated scientist of that time comprising of four different shapes, decorated with either a sterling silver or 9 carat gold pin in the form of a Lion, Fly, Horse or a Ram. The sunglasses collection Solarium features graduated mirrored lenses specially designed by Christian Dalloz a French lens designer. It’s clear to see that three generations on the same innovative designs remain, Kirk and Kirk are effortless, effortlessly stylish that is and a sure must have for both Men and Women.
