Twenty years in any industry is quite a milestone, especially in the ever evolving world of fashion. For Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins of YMC, AW16 was a celebration of the brand. The collection is named after 70’s folk singer Linda Perhacs’ cult album ‘Parallelogram’ and draws from references of the 60’s and 70’s with the boundary-pushing rawness of Can’s Damo Suzuki and the visual aesthetics of The Incredible String Band.

The collection comprises of flannel ponchos, patchwork cardigans, loose woollen trousers, floral jacquard shirting, wide neck knits, skinny scarves and leather jackets. With the ever-on-trend Chelsea boot and Damo Suzuki style wide brimmed hats that add to the ‘folk’ styling of the clothes; all in a dark colour palette of greys, blacks, blues, and dark greens.
