Earlier this week Lee Wood, former Creative Manager at internationally recognised fashion label Versace, announced that he would be leaving his role to pursue other career options. Wood, who has been with the company for 15 years, has resigned his role at Versace to join Italian footwear and accessories brand Carlo Pazolini as their new Creative Director.

Carlo Pazolini is one of the leading brands in the accessible luxury category and specialises in producing and selling shoes and accessories. Worldwide, the company boasts over 250 boutiques, with stores in Russia, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as in countries in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.

When asked to comment on his new role at Carlo Pazolini, Wood said: “I face a big task – making the brand recognizable for European and American markets. It goes without saying that I find such a challenge very exciting.”

Wood’s first collection in his new role for Carlo Pazolini will launch in January 2015.
