An early 2000’s influence seemed to dominate the Pinghe collection for AW14. Urban styling with lots of contrasting textures, accentuated by the odd bit of metallic trim here and there. Oversized hoods and fluted pencil skirts featured. Fabrics included shearling, wool, fur, leather and neoprene. Transparent PVC had a heavy presence, sometimes with the Pinghe logo printed onto it. Unfortunately, on the whole, it was a slightly clumsy collection with little wow factor. Sorry Pinghe but we’re not inspired.
