The weather outside may have been rather miserable , but the stunning settings of Spring London’s HQ on Dover Street more than made up for that. Walking into their new showroom, was more like walking  into a very exclusive boutique, all beautifully laid out with candles, soft lighting and low music in the background. Most importantly, of course, were the rails of clothes and shelves of accessorises.

Attending shows during Fashion Week and seeing the clothes on the runway or looking at images from a look book is one thing, but attending press days and seeing every fine detail up close is another – it was also a chance to come up with my perfect wish list for Christmas, I mean a girl can dream can’t she? Spring London is home to some of the most exciting designers, including Wilson PK who already has a fan in Lady Gaga. His unique structual pieces are a visual treat for the eyes, with the most emaculate detailing that will feature on a more commercial collection that he is currently working on.

Tata Naka, a newcomer to the Mayfair based PR company, was another brand that I got to lust after up close: their bold bright colours and floral prints are sure to be on every wish list come spring next year and the white, layered, pleated skirt is a must have for sure.

Now you can’t talk about the clothes without talking about the shoes and accessorises as well, my favourties included deisgner Maria Francesca Pepe, who’s SS15 collection was inspired by city skylines, graphic city maps and neon city lights; gorgeous statement pieces that will pull together any outfit. Meanwhile, shoe designer Alexander White offered the kind of shoes that Carrie Bradshaw herself would covet.
