TAKA NAKA. AW14.

Like a group of fashion chameleons the models at the Taka Naka presentation blended into their surroundings, wearing pieces in the same pattern as the wallpaper. Inspired by the world of interior design, the numerous prints are based on those of Persian rugs, Aubusson carpets, hand-painted wallpapers, ceramic tiles and porcelain china.

Fabrics include georgette, silk crepe de chine, wool crepe and bonded silk neoprene (both plain and textured). Skirts tend to finish below the knee, tops favour a layering effect with contrasting prints.
