TV presenter Reggie Yates sits comfortably in the front row at YMC: It’s his type of brand. The collection isn’t life changing but it’s contemporary and very wearable and it’s clear to see how it would potentially fit in with Yates’ effortlessly cool and casual style.
Blazers and matching shorts in red and blue stripes, oversized spots, sporty hints and an overall relaxed and easy going attitude… The loose tailoring screams summer and playtime, chillin’ in the park with friends and carefree living.
It’s a collection that would appeal to any modern metrosexual man; confidently masculine but at the same time creative. The main colours are sage greens, blues, greys with few purply hints thrown in: staying within these more muted tones adds to the accessibility of the pieces.
My favourite look? That’s tough. The floral shirt over grey ombre t-shirt perhaps? It stood out for me on the catwalk and still does when I look back over the pictures. I wonder which one Reggie liked best…
